Fort Myers

Fort Myers, also known as the City of Palms, has a rich and vibrant history. Located on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River, Fort Myers is now known worldwide as a great tourist destination and a great place to live. Looking for – great dining and shopping, deep-sea fishing, golf courses, parks, trails, flea markets and farmers markets, white sand beaches – got it! As renovation and hurricane repairs continue all over SWFL, Fort Myers’s downtown waterfront area is bustling with activity.

Renovation of old buildings and multi-story new construction is everywhere. You will find a nice mix of old and new restaurants, clubs, shops and galleries, and gorgeous riverfront sunsets! One of the most well-known attractions is the winter estates of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison.

A short drive down palm-lined McGregor Blvd will take you to Fort Myers beach, and the islands of Sanibel and Captiva. Bonita Springs, Estero, and Naples are only a short drive away too. US41 and I-75 offer easy access to all SWFL.

Even big Florida attractions like Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, and Disney are only a few hours away! If you visit, you may want to live here!
