Cape Coral

Cape Coral is the largest city in Lee County Florida. It is also one of the fastest-growing cities in all of Florida. Once known as Redfish Point, it was founded in the late 1950s as a planned community. Until the 1980s, Fort Myers was the main city in Lee County. Now Fort Myers and Cape Coral battle for top ranking. Cape Coral has over 400 miles of navigable waterways, more than any other city on earth – even Venice Italy.

Even if you don’t live on a canal, there are numerous public boat ramps and waterfront parks to enjoy. Multiple bridges over the Caloosahatchee River offer easy access to US41, I-75, and all SWFL.

The gulf beaches in Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel are just minutes away too. If you visit, you may want to move here!
